Location: Seattle area, WA (multiple locations near Pierce College and Shoreline Community College, or can be located in Seattle/Tacoma area)

Job purpose

At a high-level, the Program Director’s job is to collaborate with our community college partners to run 1) a best-in-class honors program and 2) an international student support program (at some locations).

The Program Director for Quad Learning (QL) is responsible for the development and growth of the American Honors program at our two Pierce College locations and our Shoreline Community College location. The Program Director is responsible for achieving target outcomes around student growth, retention, graduation and transfer and managing client relations with our partners. As such, he or she needs to be a relationship builder, a do-er, a project manager, a communicator, a manager, and an opportunity-seizer as the situation requires. The Program Director is responsible for directly overseeing Student Advisors, Associate Program Directors, and Field Marketing for American Honors and the logistics and expansion of any future programs (e.g. American Success Program) at Seattle area community colleges.


Scope of Responsibilities

American Honors:

  • Grow the number of domestic students joining the American Honors program, especially focused on attracting a diverse community of students, representing the make-up of the community;

  • Creating an environment that is conducive to attracting international students to the partner community colleges and programs through forging strong relationships with the schools;

  • Providing support and an engaging program offering to domestic and international students participating in the program, and increasing the number and percentage of students successfully completing American Honors and transferring to a four-year college or university

  • Build strong relationships and collaborate with key community college personnel to create and implement processes and systems to efficiently and effectively scale American Honors

  • Communicate program, product, and process needs to HQ and work with them to develop and deliver solutions, e.g., work with QL’s marketing team to provide college and region-specific context and to initiate local marketing campaigns, etc.

  • Drive program improvement by facilitating feedback from students, faculty, administration, and community partners

  • Represent Quad Learning at local events and with local PR

  • In conjunction with national HQ, oversee local field marketing efforts and oversee implementation of the AH Student Services model

Non-honors International Student Support:

  • Strategy and vision for the development for an non-honors program

  • Communicate goals and keep things on track

  • Build relationships—cultivate internal and external constituencies and build long-term relationships to achieve goals

  • Be a leader--motivate, inspire and manage the regional team

Qualifications

  • BA or BS degree required, master’s degree preferred

  • 5+ years of experience preferred

  • Excel and analytical skills needed to make data-based decisions

  • Familiarity with Google Suite
